Steve Gordon Managing Director of Phoenix is Kidderminster born and bred. He took over the company from his late father John Gordon who started the business 23 Years ago. John was widely known in kidderminster, owning early carpet and drapery businesses before spending 15 years in Financial Services. He later made the move into home improvement, and at the demise of the British Gas showrooms developed his very own 'Fireplace World' - Dealer for top manufacturers including Baxi, Valor, Wonderfire Premier, Flavell, Dimplex, Colin Parker Masonry, Worcester marble amongst many others.

Despite facing hot competition from major DIY retailers, it's the personal and reassuring approach that makes Phoenix rise above.
